- Second contract with Intercity.
- Tasked to investigate and report on the
following; Disabled passengers facilities - to evaluate the need for
further developments and prepare initial cost estimates.
- G.R.P coating systems - to review
various systems with regard to suitability for use on future
refurbishment projects. Particular attention paid to water based
systems on account of quicker drying times and for environmental
reasons. A performance specification for coating systems was
initiated. Recommendations concerning standardising the criteria used
for testing and sample control / monitoring were also made.
